What is La Revista del Paisano?
(The Countryman's Review)

"Goaded on by schmaltzy movies, unpalatable Italian food, a piteous softball team, and an oppressively incompetent editor, our heroes printed stories of great accomplishments. Stories of appalling debauchery. Stories that ought to have been run twice through a paper shredder then buried in an unmarked grave at midnight... preferable during a new moon..." -LRP Vol. 3.1

Well, that pretty much sums it up. LRP endured a three-year reign from 1992-1995 (may it rest in peace). It began as an underground (literally) newsletter originally produced in the basement of a law firm during what we can only refer to as "down time." Unfortunately that is not where it ended. Although the last recorded issue was printed five years ago, much-feared rumors have surfaced lately that the editor intends to resurrect the vile publication now that he has a website.
